Saturday:
Kent BK4
D.R. Harris Cream of Arlington soup
Merkur HD
Derby blade (#1)
D.R. Harris Pink After Shave
I don't see why people are so negative on the "new" Harris cream. I got lots of great lather this morning and a great shave.

Saturday:
Gillette '58 TV Super Speed / Gillette "Swede"
Coates Lime Shave Cream
Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel
various Caswell-Massey Number 6 products
Fantastic shave this morning. The Coates Lime was particularly fragrant today, for some reason, and put me in the mind of gin and tonic.
Mmmm, G&T.

Thanks for sharing, it brings back many happy childhood memories of a relative's home for me.stewartg wrote:
Yes, that sinks pretty old (that's to say that it's quite VINTAGE!)
The good thing about it is that there's plenty space for all my 'paraphernalia', and it's right in front of a south facing window- so the light's good!

Saturday Night:
Gillette Aristocrat razor (1948 - 1950)
Dorco blade
Savile Row 3122 brush (22mm knot, silvertip)
Mitchell's Wool Fat shaving soap
Thayer's Witch Hazel
Smooth, close shave!
This was my first shave with a notched-bar Aristocrat, having used the 1947 model previously. This one did seem smoother in action, though I always got a good shave with the raspier-sounding 1947, too. (This will require more experimentation in order to be sure.)
