I've got a wicked head cold brewing and I thought I might as well make things worse and dig a sensor out of the bottom drawer. Fresh blade. No blade feel whatsoever, stupid easy, fun killing, skill-less shave. Relatively close (it worked wonders on my neck, but I'm going to regret it tomorrow with the ingrowns). Even though the blade cut easily without resistance my skin doesn't feel all that great (a bit tight and uncomfortable). I've been meaning to try a cartridge for a while out of curiosity. I'm glad that experiment is behind me now.
I'm getting used to the Aristocrat, which is a more aggressive razor than my usual. I can't sling it with abandon like I can the accustomed Gillette Tech, but I do get a closer shave. I have only used it with the very forgiving Dorco blade, and this combination suits me quite well.
