Schick adjustable/Pella DB blade
Rooney super 1/1 horn
T&H Lavender
Lucky Tiger Tonic
Crusella's Lavanda

The scents of the T&H creams are never overpowering, but somehow they seem to linger on nicely after the shave longer than a lot of the others.

Thursday

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Derby Extra
Brush: Pure Badger
Soap: Floris Elite
A/S: witch hazel, Floris Elite balm

My first spin with this soap, very nice indeed. I have practiced the methods mentioned on Mantic's videos, and it is paying dividends now.

Merkur HD with IP
Rooney Super 3/1
Tabac SS
Cold water rinse
Aqua Velva

Somewhat of a mistake mixing Aqua Velva with Tabac!  I wanted the effects of the AF but mixing the two scents yielded an interesting aroma. The AV eventually wore off and the Tabac stuck around, which I didn't mind. Need to look for an unscented aftershave for occassional use.

Tell me more about Lucky Tiger. There are two kinds: "Aftershave" (several scents and colors) and "Afershave and Toner" in a brown bottle. Which one do you recommend?

Friday's Shave

Post by nteeman »

Friday

Pre-Shave step1: Noxzema Deep Cleansing Cream/Hot Towel
Pre-Shave step2: Hair Conditioner/Hot Towel
Razor: Weishi Shaver 9300-F
Blade: French Gillette-Shave #1
Brush: Savile Row SR #241
Soap/Cream: Col. I. Conk's Bay Rum Shave Soap
A/S: Nivea for Men Sensitive Extra Soothing A/S Balsam

\:D/ \:D/

I have forgotten what a good razor this Weishi is--a great razor for a beginner--similar to a SuperSpeed, a little more aggressive than a Tech but still a mild shaver. A fine shave using a French Gillette blade. :D
