Wed pm

Schick Krona + Zorrick blade
EJ silvertip + Arko shave soap
Talor No. 74 Victorian Limes AS and cologne

I tried the Zorrick in a Weshi this morning and a Krona this evening. There was a noticeable difference with the Krona giving a closer shave. These were not blades from the same pack, it was actually the same blade used this morning.

Thursday:

Gillette 1953 President
Gillette Platinum #9
Polo #8
MWF

Lost 3 hairs from the Polo #8 today, and it was a bit disturbing! Maybe it is revolting against the MWF or maybe the lanolin has softened the hairs up to breaking point... who knows...

Thursday

Pre-Shave: Noxzema Deep Cleansing Cream/Hot towel
Razor: Personna single edge disposable, fourth shave
Brush: generic badger brush
Soap/Cream: Tom's of Maine Mint
A/S: Nivea for Men lotion

Well, tried to join the Noxzema cult today...mixed results. Liked it as a preshave...then kept a smaller layer of it under the lather, with decent enough results. Then used it post, followed by Cetaphil. Can't say that my skin isn't a little tingly, but not bad, either. Still, a solid, not-quite-BBS shave with just a couple of weepers.

Thursday

Gillette slim adjustable w/US Personna
Coral Skin Food pre-shave
C&E Super Badger
C&E Sweet Almond Oil Cream
Em's Place alum block
The Body Shop Razor Relief
C&E Sienna asb

Lately I have been layering my post-shave products. First, I massage in the first layer - today was Razor Relief. Then I pat on the second layer - my current choice being C&E Sienna asb. This technique gives my skin a feeling of freshness I haven't experienced before. Hmmmm - ymmv.
