Neal, I didn't know you were a member of the Fat Club?

Pre-Shave: Hot towel/hot towel on lather
Razor: Personna single edge blade disposable, first shave
Brush: Generic badger brush
Soap: homemade Van der Hagen Deluxe shave stick
A/S: Old Spice Sensitive

I am in love with this Van der Hagen Deluxe as a shave stick...great shaves, every time. The only downside may be that the puck doesn't last very long in stick form...And Old Spice Sensitive rocks. I know it is discontinued, but if you can find any...

I bought it a while ago and it is a regular in my soap/cream rotation. I must admit though, I have not fallen head over heels for MWF like some others have. Even Lee of Lee's Razors told me that it has become his favorite. I will use mine up but I don't find it any better than the Col Conk or Van Der Hagen Soaps and they are much cheaper, so this will be a one time purchase for me. My absolute favorite is Musgo Real cream so that is my indulgence. Just bought 3 more tubes yesterday from Lee.

Thanks - it was inside a Trumper shaving mug somebody gave me. The name of the mug is Officer's & Gentlemen.

Monday

Slant | Derby | Merkur silvertip | Institut Karite | GFT Spanish Leather cologne

The Institut Karite continues to impress me. . . the shea butter works great for protection during the shave and moisturizing afterwards. Along with MWF, IK is another soap where you will need no aftershave product at all.

Also, if you have sensitive skin Institut Karite is THE soap for you. Go get some. 8)

Progress/Swede
Sabrooney Finest 1/2
Trumper's coconut soap
Lucky Tiger Tonic
Tabac edt

I have three (3) Trumper's soaps. Coconut, Sandalwood and Violets, and I use them more than anything else. Each time I use the coconut it seems like the lather is a bit thicker and more protective than the other two.

Monday

Shower, Cetaphil wash and moisturizer
C&E BBB
Valobra
'56 Gillette SS
Derby
Nivea Sensitive ASB

First time with the SS, very nice shave, forgiving razor, like the flare tip for grip, happy to have picked this one up. I am going to go back to the HD and Derby on a fidelity commitment for the next two weeks as this was my original razor/blade set up along with the Valobra and see where I can take it!

Monday

Omega Silvertip 617
AOS Lemon Soap
Merkur/Derby (day 2)
Rose Hydrosol
AOS Lemon Balm
Trumper's Marlborough Cologne Sample

Very comfortable shave today. Irriatation free. Missed the icewater rinse though. Marlborough sample went on strong smelling like cleaning supplies, but the dry down was nice. Smell is all but gone at 11:30
