Monday Morning:

PreShave: Hot Shower/Noxzema Deep Cleansing Cream/Hot Towel
Razor: Gillette TECH (Ball End)
Blade: Gillette Swede (Shave #3)
Brush: Omega Stripey Badger 63171
Cream: ARKO Commando
A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel and Nivea Sensitive AS Balm
Cologne: Preferred Stock

What a way to start out the week. I guess I got a little overzealous in my neck area on Fridays shave and had some resulting ingrowns which were still a little red this morning but I went super careful and everything turned out great today. My streak continues! I need to order me some more Swedes though. I've only got one left after this one reaches it's shave limit. The ARKO cream is LATHERRIFIC!

I hadn't used the Acqua di Parma in a while, and breaking it out again was a pleasant change.

EJ Super
PdP SS
Super Adj
Crystal
June Clover
Atkinson's Lavender
layered w/Musgo Real No. 2

Musgo overshadows the lavender too much. Thought it might be a nice combo, and it's okay, but I think I prefer each on its own. May try this again someday with 2:1 lavender:oak moss ratio.

Monday 6/2

Pre-Shave: Hot shower, steaming hot towel over lather on face
Razor: Merkur 38C
Blade: Derby Extra - Shave #1
Brush: Vulfix #849 Pure Badger
Cream: Palmolive for Men Lemon
A/S: Thayers After Shave Witch Hazel
Cologne: GFT Sandalwood

Notes:

Very good shave. Only thing that kept it from being excellent were a few small weepers on the left side above the jaw line.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of lather from the Palmolive considering that last time I tried it, things didn't fare so well.
Changed the shave pattern for the last inch of whiskers below the jaw line. Noticing a lot less irritation as a result.

Monday:

Razor: Merkur Progress (“Mergress”) + Derby
Brush: Simpson PJ2 Super
Soap/Cream: Trumper Rose Hard Soap
After shave: DR Harris Pink AS; Gentlemens Refinery AS Balm
Fragrance: Acqua di Parma Colonia

The AdP Colonia is a great Monday morning scent! I splash it on almost like after shave, since it has limited projection and longevity on me.
