Neal, an injector shave?

Razor: Ever Ready 1912
Blade: GEM stainless steel, fourth or fifth shave
Brush: Van der Hagen boar
Cream:
Soap: Van der Hagen shave stick, homemade
A/S: Homemade balm

Probably getting the last shave or two out of this blade, but considering tomorrow's agenda includes a big retirement party for my boss, I'm use it one more time. Today was a nice, smooth shave, just one weeper, no irritation.

I've used this old injector before. Not a bad shaver, but when I go back to one of my favorite DEs after using this for a while they seem even better. It's like that joke about the crazy guy who keeps hitting himself in the head with a brick. When asked why he keeps doing it he replies, 'because it feels so good when I stop!' :D

Monday am

Good mornin' Monday.....

'59 Fatboy w/Isreali Personna
Coral Skin Food pre-shave
C&E Super Badger
Proraso green tub
Osma alum block
The Body Shop Razor Relief
C&E Sienna asb

Great shave today - been some time since I used the Fatboy - and I still love to pick it up and heft it in my hand. Proraso green was ever-so-refreshing on the skin today as well.

Monday

Kit:
Duke 3
Harris lavender ss
'52 SS
Crystal
Homemade lavender a/s
Penhaligon's Douro

Accompaniments:
Taylor's of Harrogate Pure Assam tea
The Arcade Fire - Neon Bible

The SS shaves better than I recall - or more correctly, my technique has improved since I last used it. I'm not so sure the TV is much better for me. The TV is slightly heavier and the head is ever so slightly more curved, allowing I think for a bit more blade exposure, but it is not significant enough to make a huge difference. I believe the Super Adjustable allows me to get a similar shave to either/both, and I prefer its handle.

Regards,
Regards,
Tim
