Saturday pm

'62 Gillette Slim Adjustable w/Derby Extra
Limes Skin Food pre-shave
C&E/EJ Super Badger brush
Trumpers Limes cream
Osma alum block
The Body Shop Razor Relief
Sandalwood Skin Food post-shave
My Nik is Sealed.

I decided to try the slim adjustable after Gareth's post on fidelity. It is a nice razor to wield. So easy to hold and handle, and the geometry of the head is close to perfect for my face.

My first time with GFT Coconut SS. First impression is a good one. Nice, rich, dense lather. The scent is more of what a whole coconut smells like, with a woody tinge to it. It's a mellow creamy scent that doesn't linger too long. Moisturizing properties seem better than GFT Sandalwood...
Nice stuff, you should try the cream.

Good morning. Sunday:

Aristocrat w/IP
Rooney Blonde Horn Handle
Trumper's Violet cream
Trumper's Coconut cream
Thayer's Rose witch hazel
Harris Pink

I had left the Violet sitting out for a few days to see if it might improve the qualities of this under-performer. It did not, making a thin lather that I washed off. The comparison between the Violet and the Coconut was night and day. Otherwise, very nice and mundane shave.
Best,
Chris

Sunday

Lord Smart Razor with 2nd day Rainbow blade(Lord)
Derby lather
Omega boar brush
TSD Iced Lime with added Aloe Gel

A very nice smooth shave. I added Ocean Potion to TSD Iced Lime AS which also contained menthol. Wonderful combination and excellent for the skin.

Saturday:

Slim adjustable, I3, set at 3,4,5
Derby blade, 5th shave
Old Spice regular in the can
Target witch hazel

Body Shop Razor Relief

Though there was a mark at the rear corner of the right jaw line from Friday's shave, I managed to get a near-BBS shave with a blade that was nearing the end of its life. The witch hazel gave a sharp sting, but subsided quickly with little lingering irritation

The Razor Relief was used because a lady friend likes the smell of it.

My second shave with GFT Coconut SS. It provides for a surprisingly creamy and slick lather.
