Wednesday 10/22 . . .
- Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
- Brush: C&E BBB
- Cream: TSD Coconut Lime Verbena
- Razor: '48 Gillette Super Speed for face & '11 GEM Jr. Lather Catcher Style for head
- Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharp Edge DE & Ted Pella PTFE Coated SE
- Oil Pass: Leisureguy's Last-Pass Shave Oil
- A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner
- EDT: SCS Very V EDT
- Result: NOT a very fun shave today. Almost like I had never DE shave before. A few nicks on the right side of my neck and on my upper lip. And about 3 on the head. I just blew it. Too quick, too much pressure. Whatever I could do wrong I did it today. Now must wait a day or two before I can go for the BBS shave that I love. Still I feel fine and the Very V helps the bruised ego as well as the bruised face, neck and head.

Wednesday PM:
Focus Blade Razor / Wilkinson Sword
Trumper's Rose Soap / C&E PBB
D R Harris Pink / Trumper's Coral Skinfood
Czech & Speake #88
First ever 'straight-razor' shave, well, sort of.
Extremely close shave, and a very nice 2" slice on my neck, but hey ho.
I think I could get used to this . . . I have my eye on vintage English straights now.

Wednesday evening:
C&E pure
TOBS Eton College (thanks Tim!)
Merkur 180 w/ ASR platinum (2nd shave)
Humphrey's witch hazel
Aqua Velva Musk
Nivea balm
Quick one-pass shave. I used to love the musk scent when I first got it a couple years ago. Not so much anymore. Shoulda used Old Spice.
