Monday (pm)
I really wanted to shave with my new 5/8 Wapienica (Wapi) tonight but as I've not got enough stubble I had to settle for a head shave.
Boots Shaving Cream
C&E Pure Badger Brush (been looking at another Chubby 1 Best)
Gillette Fusion
D R Harris Arlington Aftershave
T&H Trafalgar Cologne
I really, really want to be able to shave my head with a DE so that I'm not tied to buying cartridges for the rest of my life (or as long as I have some hair to shave) but there is no question - the Fusion is the quickest, smoothest and easiest thing out there.
I reckon I can get a good month's worth of head-shaves from one cartridge, which is quite cost-effective when you consider how much a visit to the barbers costs.

Merkur HD
Gillette Yellow
Shavemac custom D01, 24mm
Speick cream
Osma block
Nivea balm
Nice shave, but with some nicks and cuts. I liked tha plastic razor so much that I might use it more in the future and when I am in a hurry because I get a quicker shave with less rash. Hmmm I thought my technique was perfect until I reduced the rash to zero with the plastic.

Monday evening:
Omega Sintex brush, 90018
Body Shop Shave Cream, Sandalwood
Super Adjustable, P1, set at 4
7O'clock Sharp Edge (yellow) blade, 1st shave
Thayers lemon
Body Shop Razor Relief
Last time I used this blade was last year in a Tech with Old Spice in the can.
My technique has improved since then, but the 7o'clock yellow requires more care and attention. Got a pronounced weeper on the chin, which still has toilet tissue on it, and another on the right cheek bone, of all places.
This blade is note coated like other blades I've used in recent weeks, and so far I prefer the PTFE coating. Beard reduction was more than usual after the first pass, but at the cost of smoothness.
Normally I advance the setting from 4 to 5 on the second pass, but with this blade I left it at 4. Perhaps I'll start with a 3 setting next time, and then advance to 4 on subsequent passes.
