Friday

Gillette Super Speed
Gillette Platinum Plus Blade
Rooney 2/1, Super
Proraso Shaving Cream
Old Spice After Shave

This was a nice shave with a 1976 Super Speed and one of the Platinum Plus blades included in the package. This blade is remarkably smooth and provided a very close, very comfortable shave. The feel of the blade is to me much like the Light Brigade blades - also produced during the 1970's.

All the best,

Buck

Saturday:

Kent Soap / C&E Pure
Wapienica 5/8
D R Harris Pink
Kinize Ten (sample - must buy some)

3 passes, all WTG at this stage as it is only really my 2nd full shave without finishing off with a DE.

The Kent soap just gets better and better. I'm glad I gave this a 2nd chance.

Sod's law too that I get the best lather ever on the day my new Simpson Duke brush arrives. hopefully it will be as good, if not better than the C&E.

Back to the pink after a few months of Old Spice. Great stuff.

Knize Ten. Right up there with Yatagan, Antaeus, Blenheim Bouquet, Kouros and #88 for me.

Gillette Rocket HD
Swede
Kent BK8
Proraso
Cold rinse
DR Harris Arlington Cologne

Used a new swede today after a week of shaving with the Yellow 7 Oclocks, I have to say you cannot beat these Swede's, IMHO. They just feel so much smoother and comfortable, with no irritation. Real shame there going.

All the best
John
