SOTD March 23 thru March 29
Savile Row 3122
AOS Lemon soap
1912 Ever-Ready
GEM/Pella blade
K.B. Vetiver a/s
Floris Vetiver edt
The Vetiver is the best of the King Barber splashes. Or maybe I'm just a vetiver junkie. AOS Lemon is great.
And the SR 3122. Well, there are times I could kick myself for having spent much of the last year using Simpsons and Rooneys. I'm still a boar devotee, but in the badger realm, this is as good as it gets, for me anyway.
Regards,

Thursday am
Undated Canadian Tech w/Derby Extra - can there be any more simple a razor than the Tech in any form?
Coral Skin Food pre-shave - yes, I'm still using it after more than a year for virtually every shave - and finding it works well.
C&E/EJ Super Badger brush -- a budget (kinda) big brush that holds gobs of water and lather.
TOBS alum block - love the feeling I get when I rub the moistened block over my clean, rinsed face.
The Body Shop Macca Root Razor Relief - I don't know what Macca Root does, but this stuff is superior in every way, imo, to the previous formulae.
Coral Skin Food -- ditto on post shave -- love this stuff.
C&E Sienna asb - a nice finishing touch with a scent that doesn't linger or hang in the air and suffocate me like most after-shave or cologne products do.
And there you have it -- my SOTD for March 26.

Thursday
Chatsworth w/ Derby
Rooney 3/2 Super Silver
DR Harris Arlington SS
J&J Purpose moisturizer
Floris No.89 cologne
I received my order from Vintage Blades - Rooney 3/2 faux horn and DR Harris Arlington. My first impression of both products is very favorable.
Arlington's scent reminds me of Floris No.89... this soap is fantastic - very slick and protective. I see more DR Harris soaps in my future.
The Rooney Style 3 Size 2 seems to be exactly what I was looking for. The handle size and loft size are perfect for me. The loft itself is dense yet soft - and stiff enough that it destroyed my puck of Arlington - explosive lather ensued. It's also a handsome devil of a brush.
Cheers!
