Gillette Fatboy with new Red Pack Personna
QED Select 24mm Best
Musgo Real SC
Musgo Real AS splash

Mediocre shave with one of my best combos. I'm guessing a bad blade.

W&B 8/8 Barber's Use
Sabrooney Finest 1/2
Trumper's violets soap
Trumper's Limes Skin Food
Acqua di Parma Colonia

Two passes W and ATG. Another fine shave you've gotten me, W&B.

Today it was a Micromatic SE. My go to is a '47 un-notched SuperSpeed. So it is SOTD, and mine was:

Prep: Shower, hot towel
Brush: Edwin Jagger Synthetic Fibre
Lather: Body Shop Maca Root cream
Razor: Gem Micromatic SE
Blade: Gem Personna
AS: Thayers with aloe vera, Dr Bronners/Sundog organic Patchouli hemp lotion
Result: At least a damn fine shave

Sometimes, in addition to the soap or cream, I put on a small amount of pure olive oil.
Can't buy a thrill...

'47 SuperSpeed
'60 Fatboy
Gem Junior

Friday Afternoon:

1953 Gillette 40's Style SS
Iridium Super (Shave #1)
Kent/Altesse Pure Badger
TOBS Avocado
Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel
TSD AS Milk

Been sick since yesterday. Started to feel dizzy and queasy about half way through the shave so I took a break and went back to it a few minutes later. The Iridium Super is a nice blade. Didn't have any problems hacking through 2 days of growth but the jury will be out until at least 2 more shaves with it.

Friday:

Omega Sintex brush, 90018
Body Shop Maca Root Shave Cream
Fat-handled Tech
Polsilver blade, 1st shave
Thayers Lemon
Body Shop Razor Relief

This blade is similar to but not quite as sharp as a Super Iridium.
No nicks, but in going for the the BBS gusto on the right jawline, too many weepers, I can do that even with a Treet Classic.

Vinny, Get a grip, man! It's nothing like T&H Trafalgar! Trafalgar is full of those modern 'marine' notes. There's none of that in Bois du Portugal.

Both are "clovey" to me. BdP is warmer though.

Athough I have taken a lot of snuff lately :)
