WOW! Neal, you need to visit that barber more often for shaves! Well Done!nteeman wrote:Today I treated myself to a Barber's Shave. My barber Daniel of Daniel's Barber Shop inc. (Port Washington, NY) has always told me to try his shave and it will be the best Barber's shave I ever had -- well, he was right. A great relaxing experience and a fantastic shave. It featured several pre-shave creams and hot towels followed by a three pass shave with a hot towel in between each. Upon completion he gave me a cold towel, full face and scalp massage, another cold towel, back of the neck shave, then aftershave all around. Boy I feel great. All this for $13, and yes, I gave him a good tip!

Saturday
Razor: Gillette LD Rocket
Blade: NOS Wilkinson
Brush: Omega 48
Cream: DR Harris's Almond
A/S: Clinique PSH
Edt: DR Harris's Arlington
Got a great shave from this new (to me) razor today. I'm starting to believe that the lightweight versions of razors fit my face and technique the best. I now have the light versions of the Rocket and the #58 and they're both great!

Saturday Morning:
Hot Shower/Hot Towel
1973 Gillette Super Adjustable (Set at 4)
Swedish Gillette (Shave #3)
Kent/Altesse Pure Badger
TOBS Rose SC
Harris Pink A/S
TSD AS Milk
Preferred Stock
I attended my buddies wedding today with my wife to be so I figured a nice rose set up would be a sensible idea. The TOBS lathers like a dream, no matter what scent. I'm still having trouble getting the right cream/water ratio though. The Super Adjustable felt a little bit more aggressive today than it did on Thursday. That may have been because of a three shave old blade but we'll never know. Harris Pink, although over priced, is a great match to the TOBS Rose SC. My results today were par for the course. Looking forward to something a little bit better next week perhaps.

Sunday
Futur
Gillette 7 O'Clock Sharp Edge
Simpson's Best Badger Special
Ingram Shaving Cream
Old Spice a/s
Picked up the Ingram and the Old Spice in Superdrug yesterday. The Ingram cream is very cooling and really wakes you up. The Jury is still out on the Old Spice.

Those who design "Fool Proof" systems often underestimate the ability of fools.
