Yes it does. I got my first shea butter SS sometime between the reformulation fiasco and when Penhaligon announced it was dropping tallow for palm oil. I thought at the time the shea butter soaps would be a great substitute for the tallow ones as tallow disappears from the SS market. Several other members mentioned this also. It makes wonderful creamy lather on a par with D.R. Harris, old Penhaligon's, AOS, Tabac and MWF....at least with my water, tehnique, etc. I have IK and Provence Sante. Scents are OK (powdery, lightly floral) but performance is tops. Right on BullGoose.

The word that comes to my mind when I think of Institut Karite lather is "silky."

Lovely lather and very nice skin care.
