Monday Morning:
Hot Shower/Proraso Glycerin Cleansing Bar/Hot Towel
1958 Gillette TV SS
Bolzano Superinox (Shave #1)
C&E BBB
GFT Coconut Oil SC
Jade East A/S
Vaseline IRML Lotion
First impression on the Bolzano blade is that it is pretty decent. One of the better blades I've tried. The last time I used my GFT Coconut, I followed it up with some Clubman Bay Rum as a finish and it burnt the dickens out of my face. I figured it was the Bay Rum but today, the Jade East provided the same burning sensation, just not as bad. Perhaps I was wrong to blame the aftershave. Maybe the GFT is what's causing the issue. Everything else went fairly well today. A few troublesome areas on my neck and the corner of my mouth but those were there before I shaved. Jade East has a very fine scent and matched up pretty well with the Coconut.

Monday!
Kent BLK4
Rocket HD w/LB
Lucky Tiger Shave Cream (sample)
Harris Pink
Guerlain Vetiver (old)
After reading the thread on the Lucky Tiger SC i found a sample that came with my last purchase of face tonic, and decided to give it a spin. It lathered like a champ, with the nice LT scent. It didn't take much water to produce copious amounts of lather. I think it was pretty slick, with a bit less cushion than the top English creams, but overall it was an excellent shave, and good to know there are backup contingency Plan B's for when all else fails.

Monday:
Omega Syntex, 90018
Omega cream in the tube
Super Adjustable, P1, set at 3,4
Crystal blade, 1st shave
Thayers Lemon
Body Shop Razor Relief
First shave with a Crystal in over a year, first shave in this razor, on a nearly 2-day growth.
This blade does the job smoothly without fanfare. We'll see how long it lasts.

Andrew, it's a shorter handle than my other razors, especially the Barber Pole and of course the Long-Handled Adjustable. Nevertheless, the short handle suits the low-profile head for a close, easy shave. I'm not head over heels for it, but impressed given that I thought when I opened it that it was a bit smallish.drumana wrote:Tim - interesting that you find the 1904 comfortable... I found it the opposite. I sent mine back for quality control issues and didn't shave with it, but I knew from just holding it that I wouldn't enjoy shaving with it. Found it awkward for some reason. It's a shame too, because I love the looks of it.TBoner wrote: Merkur 1904**
**great maneuverability and a comfortable razor to use.
I think it will take a week or more to decide if it earns a place in the permanent rotation. Only the aforementioned two DE razors have found their way into the mix on any regular basis, with a few others getting only occasional use. We shall see...

Good Tuesday morning all...
E.Jagger Chatworth w/ Super Max (1)
Semogue 1305
VDH glycerin ss
Thayers Original WH w/ aloe
444 a/s balm
Floris Vetiver Edt
First time with the Super Max blade, a very good first day shave. The VDH glycerin always works well. I finally figured out how little 444 you need to do a good job; I had previously been using too much which left a tacky feel on my skin. The Floris Vetiver is terrific; I wonder why it has been discontinued.
