Well, I think that I'm too accustomed to my Valobra and Palmolive lather or something. Just not happy. Will give the Harris Almond one more shot tomorrow with my trusty Omega 49.

Friday-
Gillette LBH Adjustable
SI blade (3rd shave)
Semogue 2000
QED Sandalwood Shave Stick
QED unscented ASB
T&H Spanish Leather
I keep going back to the Gillette and the SI blade is pretty darned good. I may have to order a load of these too. I seem to be developing a few 'favorite blades'.

Scott, there's nothing like hitting the "sweet spot...."![]()

Friday Shave
Friday the 13th Shave
Razor: 1963 Gillette Slim Adjustable
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (shave # ??)
Brush: Vulfix VS/5 Boar
Soap/Cream: Cella Soap/Cream
A/S: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel/Pinaud Clubman Vanilla splash
It’s been awhile since I used the Slim, and I can’t remember how many shaves were already on the blade. The Cella produced a bountiful amount of creamy lather. I’m turning into a “Cella Fella”--great stuff. Anyway, the shave was smooth and relaxing and the blade, thankfully, seemed to be at its prime.
The witch hazel followed by the Pinaud splash was a fine finish to an excellent shave.
