Saturday Morning:
Hot Shower/Proraso Glycerin Cleansing Bar/Hot Towel
1953 Gillette 40's Style SS
Super Iridium (Shave #1)
Kent/Altesse Pure Badger
FA Men Oceanic SC
Aqua Velva Original Sport A/S
Vaseline IRML Lotion
I enjoy the scent of the FA Men Oceanic cream. It's very.......oceanic! The hardware combination worked out really well. My lather could have been better. It dried out a bit on my face but things seemed to have turned out fine. Irritation free and very smooth results. Good stuff!!

Brush: Shavemac 2007 LE
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Speick Shave Stick
A/S: Blenheim Bouquet A/S Splash
This has been the weekend of shave sticks...I used Irisch Moos yesterday and Speick today. Both produced wonderful lather and resulted in BBS shaves. I used Blenheim Bouquet aftershave this morning (a holiday acquisition) and I am definitely a fan. Nice stuff!

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:
old scritchy butterscotch Rooney
fatboy/Spoiler
QED Sandalwood SS
German Pitralon AS
i Profumi di Firenze 'Ambra del Nepal' EdP
Heck of a nice shave today.....grabbed the QED and had a blast. This is the only sandalwood shaving product I use because that scent usually really isn't for me. Nope, not even the Mysore EO that some soapmakers use grabs me much. Only reason I enjoy the stuff Charles makes is because the predominent scent to my nose is one of cedar. Yeah, it's weird, but the sandalwood is in the background, which makes the overall scent much more appealing to me.
The performance was very good(as usual), and I liked catching little whiffs of cedar/sandalwood wonderfulness as the blade glided right along. Just what I was looking for this morning.
This EdP used today is a great compliment for the soap. It's a very dark amber.........strong resin and wood notes with zero powder or florals or any sweetness. Drydown is excellent......dry, yet forceful. Pretty darn good, and I only need a little bit of this stuff.
BBS results,
Martin
