The safety razor really feels incredibly easy and quick compared to the straight - almost like a revolutionary new quick shave device.

Derby Extra (shave #3)
Small Edwin Jagger Super Badger
Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream
Proraso After Shave Splash
Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm
I've been using the Derby for the last three days as I remembered I had some lying around. Although a good blade, they're not quite sharp enough for my liking so as of tomorrow, I'm back to my trusty Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdges.

Good morning. Monday:
Rooney EJ87 w/Dorco 301
SR 3120
Taylors Avocado
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel
Poor Man's Pink
TGR Standard A/S balm
C&S O&C
Tuesday, same except:
Semogue LE boar
Fitjar Neroli cream
D'Orsay Arome 3
Those who like the IP should consider trying the Dorco- just slightly sharper, but still as smooth. I strangely find myself reaching for the Semogue most days now. Part of it is the newness (novelty is not quite the right word) of the brush, but most of it is the performance. Just superb. I curious if it is the special grade of boar or the the knot. If anyone has tried this and the 2000 I'd like to hear your thoughts.

As for the Semogue, I have used the 2000, but my LE experience is not far enough along right now to give an educated comparative opinion. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll get the LE partially broken-in and can give a fair assessment. Surely there are some other gents who have tried both (Doug? teiste? Murray?).

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: NOS Schick Plus Platinum
Brush: Shavemac D01 Horn
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Arko Shave Stick
A/S: Pre de Provence ASB
EDT: TOBS Shaving Shop
The more I use the Arko shave stick the more I like it. While I still do not care for the scent, the performance is second to none and I always get a close comfortable shave. The Merkur Futur wwith the once used Schick blade did an outstanding job and the Pre de Provence ASB was a soothing finish. The TOBS Shaving Shop complimented the PdP and it will be a permanent member of my rotation. Very nice!

TUESDAY
Schick N2
Schick Platinum (NOS)
Omega 300005
MWF
Aqua Velva Musk
Been using this boar brush for the last 3 shaves; hmmmm….. It certainly isn’t what I expected, the brush is rather impressive. The bristles are still pretty stiff, but the tips are getting a little softer and it lathers great.
