I think this is a repeat of Thursday’s kit..I’d reach for lots of other blades before the Trig Silver Edge..It wasn’t as sharp or as smooth as I prefer….

Enjoy your gear,

Saturday!

Simpson X2L Colonel Super
Rocket HD w/Wilkinson Super Sword-Edge
Fitjar Fjellheim Cream
Harris Milk (old)

Encre Noire

First time with the Fitjar cream. It has a nice thick consistency, reminiscent of the best English creams. Good cushion and a nice, dryish lather. The Fjellheim scent is really, really nice! Very Nordic. This will be a nice change-up in my rotation from my go-to English creams and soaps.

SATURDAY:

Merkur Futur w/ Feather
Semogue 2009 Ltd. Edition Boar
C&E Sienna soap
Santa Maria Novella Sandalwood EDC (Thank you, Squire!)

I left the Semogue to soak and got distracted on Facebook, so it sat for a long time and really relaxed, with great results.

Squire very generously sent me a bottle of SMN Sandalwood -- truly appreciated. To me, this one is somewhat more green/herbal than woody. I would describe it as "thyme and dilute Listerine, with a hint of woodiness." The medicinal angle most likely comes from wood resin. SMN is known for being idiosyncratic, and the Sandalwood is no exception. Thanks, Squire!

1966 Gillette TECH (Ball End)
Iridium Super (Shave #1)
Kent/Altesse Pure Badger
Palmolive Classic SC
BRUT A/S

Took a week off for no other reason than the fact that it was Spring Break at work and I felt like being a little lazy. Regardless, it was nice to get back into the swing of things with this fantastic set up. DFS territory for sure.
