Mary Kay Men (??!?) a/s balm
Vetiver by Carven Edt
Had such a close shave yesterday with the Gem Clog Pruf that I decided to go with a mild combination of the Jagger Chatsworth and 7OCY. The PC feels terrific and allowed me three good passes with fantastic results. The Carven finished everything well to start the short week (leaving Wednesday evening for the left coast...then Phoenix to watch the son play spring training games).

Merkur 1904/Wilkinson Classic
Nivea Shaving Cream
Thayers After Shave
Nivea Sensitive After Shave Balm
Nivea was my first DE wet shaving cream and still retains a favorite spot in my collection. While I tend to use this mainly as a travel cream, this cream really does deserve to see more daily service. Available on the shelf at "Shoppers" up in Canada I am totally surprised that Canadian SMF'ers are not using this cream en masse.
A smooth and wonderful shave to start the week courtesy of a shaving cream that for me ranks tops and ahead of many others.

Razor: Vintage Merkur Slant (Pre WWII)
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Shavemac D01 Horn
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Penhaligons Blenheim Bouquet (Tallow)
A/S: Penhaligons Blenheim Bouquet ASB
My 2nd shave with the vintage slant was as pleasant as my first and it rivals the Futur for efficiency. I cracked out the Penhaligon's today to brighten up a gloomy day. It never disappoints!

1955 Super Speed
Super Iridium blade
H. Bronnley AS
The handle on the 1955 Super Speed with its horizontal and verticle grip pattern is not as comfortable as the vertical pattern on the 1958 Super Speed (TV Special). The head is the same. I just cannot bear to get rid of the '55 since it and I were manufactured in the same year. I never thought I was the sentimental type, given the criticisms we can generate for our shaving "stuff".
