Proraso pre shave
Williams shave soap
Parker 60R
Derby Extra
Alum block
Nivea post shave balm

This is almost the end of my fourth week with a DE and the second day for the Derby blade. This was a closer shave than I got with the Sharks that came with the razor. The Alum is a big improvement over witch hazel for me. And the Williams is better for me than the Omega cream I've been trying. The proraso is a revelation. I've never used a pre shave before and I don't think I'll ever go without one now.

Saturday

Bic Sensitive
Edwin Jagger Best Badger
Kent Soap
Old Spice a/s

Thought I'd give one of these Bics a try. I really didn't know what to expect, but I think the word I am looking for is "Wow!" You pick one out of the bag (99p for 10) and it feels pretty poor, but start shaving and all that is forgotten.

3 passes; WTG, XTG, ATG - no problem -BBS. Colour me impressed.

Kirby/Iridium
Yardley SS
Lumene AS balm
vintage Old Spice(used as cologne)

BBS results,

Chris, glad to hear it. It does require a shade more work and time, but it's worth it.

Omega 30005
T&H Sandal sc
Merkur "1904"
Dorco 301 #5
Harris Pink a/s
C&S No. 88 8)

Sampling the C&S again. I like it more than I recalled. Don't know if I'll buy a bottle, but it's nice stuff indeed.

Tim, it is and it does. Definitely not a soap/cream for those who like the easy rewards of a classic British product, but The Bomb most certainly yields a damn fine shave. And funny you said that about the C&S- I had the same reaction. Of late, however, I find myself enjoying it quite a bit.
Best,
Chris

Vulfix 374 Super
Merkur HD/Wilkinson Classic
The Body Shop Maca Root Shaving Cream
Thayers Witch Hazel After Shave
A light smear of Weleda After Shave Balm

Yesterday's shave with the BiC disposable was good but not lasting, I noticed a fair bit of stubble by late evening. Back to the good ol' Merkur this morning for a close and comfy shave.

A good weekend to all!
Good shaving,

Gary
