After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

old Fields brush
Kirby/Iridium
vintage Yardley SS
Lumene AS balm
TGQ 'Leatherneck' extrait

Third and final day for the Kirby. It's just a tad too aggressive for regular daily use, and three days in a row is about my limit. Extremely close shaves every day with this thing.

Too bad the Yardley's got no fragrance left. It's a very good product, but a little bit dull to use with no scent. I'll use it for a change of pace, but can't see shaving with it very often.

I'm taking the new stuff out for a ride.

Merkur 38C
Super Iridium (Shave #2)
SR 3722
Erasmic Metal Tube
D.R. Harris Milk

Penhaligon's Endymion

Merkur, where have you been all my life? Great shaver, maybe first shaves are deceiving but I don't find this razor too aggressive at all. No blood to be seen at all on my face after 3 passes and touch ups. The brush was great as always. The cream... I think it may be a good performer, I am not a fan of the scent. It has like an off-rubber scent, I don't know. However I do feel like it would have been a better shave had I opted for one of my english creams. Love the Endymion sample, and I cant wait to try the Elixir. All in all, no complaints.

Vinny, do you get a better shave with the BICs?

I'm curious as to your reason for the change from DE.

Good Tuesday morning all...

Fat Handle Tech w/ Feather
C&E BBB
Arko Lemon sc
Dickinson's WH
Lucky Tiger a/s
Woods of Windsor Edt

Terrific shave with the Arko and Tech/Feather combo. Had enough lather for a head shave and finished it off with the late lamented WoW.
