CdG Vettiveru*
*Barbershop summer vetiver, sort of. Opens bright and citrusy, then goes grassy and clean, and dips into a creamy cedar base throughout the drydown. Superb.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:
old Fields brush
1958 Executive/Iridium
TGQ Leatherneck SS
Lumene AS balm
Ogallah 'Bay Rum' cologne
I can't seem to go back to using my (former) favorite razor. No idea why, but this particular Executive shaves even better than my fatboy, which I didn't think was possible. This is my second Executive, having sold the first one long ago because it just didn't fit me right.
It's the kind of shave when things are almost on auto pilot......it's that easy and comfortable. I'm glad I got this beauty out of the locker and gave it another look.
BBS shave, except for the part when I sliced the corner of my lip because of complacency. Yeah, I got a bit lazy and was reminded these Iridiums are pretty sharp. Just the tiniest little slice that bled for a good 15 minutes, even after I applied the My Nic is Sealed. Totally my fault...........sheesh.

Razor: Gillette Norfolk
Blade: NOS Schick Plus Platinum
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Penhaligons English Fern
A/S: Penhaligons English Fern
I have been too busy to post my shaves lately but have used the Gillette Norfolk and Schick Plus Platinum combination for three days running with excellent results. The Norfolk is far and away my favorite open comb razor and the discontinued Schick Plus Platinum blade ranks right up there with the best blades ever made. I enjoyed a luxurious BBS shave and the Pens English Fern was a fine and appropriate finish.
