After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

1964 Macys badger
1958 Executive/vintage Krona stainless steel
MWF
Lumene AS balm
TGQ 'Leatherneck' extrait

I'm enjoying this brush more than I thought would be the case. Kinda floppy but very soft, with a nice handle to grab. It drops 3-4 hairs every shave, but there's plenty left......heh. I usually save this brush for creams, but the MWF was no problem in the least today. Surprised this brush worked so well on a soap like that. This goofy thing has been a pleasant $8 purchase.

So that wager allows for such switching? Or, did you just wash out? :)

Gillette NEW
Iridium Super (shave #2)
Small Edwin Jagger Super Badger
TOBS Almond Shaving Cream
Tabac After Shave Lotion

My first shave with the NEW (thanks LeisureGuy) or any open comb for that matter. What a great razor. The weight and balance are spot on and I really like the feel of the combs as I shave. My trusty Merkur HD is not going to see some use for quite a while.

Friday 4/2/10

Geneva Cutlery 6/8
Golden Nib Finest reknotted brush
Godrej Menthol Mist sc
Dickinson's WH
Aqua Velva a/s
Alcolado Mentholated Splash
444 a/s balm
212 Edt

Two decent passes with the Geneva Cutlery 6/8...working on technique around the upper lip, chin and neck to good effect. As it will a warm one today (visiting Bradford PA for the son's baseball game) I went with the menthol theme. The Godrej is very cushioning and long lasting and helps when I use the straight. A great start for the day.
