Merkur 23C
Super Iridium
Simfix Grosvenor LE Two Band Super
TOBS Avocado SC
Generic Witch Hazel
Proraso A/S Splash

An absolutely great BBS shave--and this was the 11th shave on this blade. The TOBS Avocado cream is a fine performer and I like the scent. The fragrance reminds me of lily of the valley, but there is nothing in the ingredient list to support this idea. IMO, it's just a fresh, springtime scent.

The Proraso splash provided a fine finish to this excellent shave.

Emperor 2 two-band
Trumper's Rose Shave Soap
Moss Scuttle
Muhle R89 razor
Gillette 7 O'Clock yellow
H. Bronnley AS

The Simpson Emperor 2 two-band has very little bloom
so it has little contact with the walls of the scuttle and doesn't get as warm as my other brushes. I need to figure out a fix.

Sunday Night:

Edwin Jagger razor
Treet Dura Sharp "Classic" blade (carbon steel with PTFE coating)

Semogue 2015 brush (silvertip with wooden handle)
Art of Shaving, Unscented, shaving soap

Thayer's Lemon Witch Hazel (Astringent: 10% alcohol, no -parabens, no burn)

I leave a tiny bit of invisible lather on the skin, then I blend it with the witch hazel as I massage the creamy mixture into the skin. This is as good as any balm that I have found.

This 2015 silvertip brush is the Semogue that started it all, purchased back around October 2008. Since then, I have purchased another 13 Semogue brushes. I'm finding that both with badger and with boar, I am using my Semogue brushes almost exclusively now. They are outstanding products with the performance characteristics that I seek, and I am only too happy to support the tiny factory.
