This 3 piece Adam's is an open comb and has the Merkur head on the bottom of its fat handle..The blade plate is stamped Made In Germany..I've only seen three of them..I was told that they were produced in the 30's..Can anyone verify that?? Sorry I don't have a photo....

A very good shave this morning...I should have switched out the blade, however, as it is nowhere near as effective as it was for the first three or four shaves.

Good, creamy lather again from the C&E soap. But. Not as much glide as I like, and the beard-softening effect is a notch below my favorites. Also a slight hint of tingling yesterday and today. So, this one will not return to the rotation, sadly.
