Sunday, much delayed.
Feather (yellow label) blade #2
Edwin Jagger DE89L
Lavanda shave cream
Savile Row 3124 silver tip brush
Alum block rub
Spanish Floid Blue A/S
Finally, got the water ratio right for this "lost" Portuguese cream but too much pricey product needed for resulting lather. Great shave, wonderful scent, skin feels fantastic but the price point for this blast from the past leaves me unmoved.

Gee, David, I didn't realize you had been gone that long! Welcome back!
Sunday Night:
Schick Injector Type I razor (short handle, black plastic)
Schick Super Chromium blade (NOS US production)
Semogue 1305 boar brush
Martin de Candre soap
Thayer's Original Witch Hazel
My first shave with this new soap didn't go very well. Of course, I have had this happen in the past with a new soap, so I need some time to learn its quirks for best results.
At the same time, to my great frustration, I can't seem to really become comfortable with the Schick Injector razor. I learned to shave with a Type L over 40 years ago, but I seem to be very DE-grounded now.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:
1964 Macys badger
1958 Executive/Schick Plus Platinum
Surrey SS (not VDH Deluxe)
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Aramis vintage 'Havana' EdT
Last 8 of 10 days shaves have been with this same soap. The other two was trying some PdP, which is a nice product I have to say.
The Surrey has just a faint soapy scent, and I'm surprised it's held my interest this long. It's a very good performer though, and the stuff is still quite fun to use. The lather is excellent.
Third time using this Schick blade, and it's good. It's not quite as sharp as I'd prefer, but still a nice performance. I'll try another blade when this one wears out and see if it's any different. It reminds me of the old Wilkinsons, and is a step above the Spoilers.
BBS results,
Martin

Hi there Murray,
If you like, send me your mailing address and I'll loan you my Schick adjustable to sample. That was my favorite of all the injectors I used, which was a bunch.
