  • Prep: Noxzema Skin Cream & Hot Towel
  • Brush: Knotty Roddy Refurb with TGN Silvertip Badger Knot
  • Cream: SCS Avocado Oil
  • Razor: 1912 GEM with fat black handle
  • Blade: Ted Pella PTFE coated GEM SE (shave 2)
  • A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner & SCS Avocado Oil ASM
  • EDT: TSD Old Spice Type
  • Result: Very nice and comfortable DFS today. Not going anywhere particularly important so I did not go for BBS. This was the last of the SCS Avocado cream. Had some trouble making a good lather on the face. Had to actually wipe off the lather and then start all over again in my mug. Did get enough for 3 decent passes then.

Blade: Supermax Super Platinum
Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super
Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, TOBS Sandalwood Splash

Another nice, comfortable shave with this blade, but not quite BBS. I guess I've been spoiled by Astra Superiors and Super Iridiums, and the Supermax is not quite as sharp as those blades. Actually, this could be a benefit for those who think Astras and Iridiums are a tad too aggressive.
