Friday, March 4th

Razor: Wilkinson Sticky
Blade: Schick Plus Platinum
Brush: Shavemac 2007 LE
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: I Coloniali Mango Oil Shave Soap
A/S: Acca Kappa White Moss Emulsion

Another great shave. I just received the Acca Kappa aftershave emulsion in yesterday's mail and I am very impressed. It is very soothing, not overly greasy and it has a mild pleasant scent. It now has a spot in the rotation. :D

Razor - Slim Adjustable (set to 3)
Blade - Merkur
Brush - Altesse
Soap - Proraso white
Toner - Thayers alcohol-free witch hazel
A/S - Proraso splash

Success! Proraso splash works for me - my skin doesn't react the way it does with the balm. Win!
Smooth shave, excellent results. No nicks or weepers.
Made with Macintosh!

Friday !

Queen Charlotte Lavender Shave cream/soap
Polo 8
Merkur 34c
Gillette Bleue Extra #1
Alum
The Genuine Floid A/S

This is my first experience with the Queen Charlotte product, they call it "cream soap" because it's relatively hard, not Castle Forbes "hard", perhaps same texture as T&H. I have two other samples from them and I'll report back after using all three for a few shaves. Just an FYI, they offer both tallow and vegan formulations and all are paraben free if that floats yer boat.

Friday.

Edwin Jagger DE86 with Derby
T&H 1/2*
Queen Charlotte Soap: Basilica
jojoba oil

* Well, I tried selling this brush three times to no avail. At a good price, nonetheless. So I figure, I'm meant to own it for now at least. Today's shave with it was excellent. I still find it to be a little on the floppy side, but it made a great lather, felt great on the face, and indeed has a very nice ergonomic handle.

Friday:
Gillette fat-handle Tech w/ Lord Platinum blade
Buffalo green & black two-band
DR Harris Marlborough soap, splash, and EDT

Agreeing with Pauldog's impression from earlier this week: These blades shave well out of the box, but don't last long. Good for the price, but you'll burn through 'em.

Andrew, what did you think of Celestial Woods? I loved the scent but didn't get great performance. However, I'm thinking I didn't give it a fair shake...

Omega Granduca 3 one-band
Art of Shaving Lavender soap
1956 B1 Gillette Red Tip razor
Dorco ST-301 blade shave #2
C.O. Bigelow Dr. Galen splash
Eau de L'Occitan EDT spray 8)

Started off with some Tabula Rasa Dark Lavender. Wanted to love it, but couldn't get a usable lather, so I went to a standby soap. Great shave.
