Gillette Twinjector razor
Gillette Twin Injector blade (8th shave)
Bigelow Cream
VdH Badger Brush

The brush is the one from the VdH luxury kit. Much better than their boar brushes.

I find that the Gillette injector is too mild with a normal single blade, but with these vintage twins, it's excellent.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur Progress XL
Blade: Lord Platinum Class
Brush: EJ Best Badger
Cream: Ingram
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Alt Innsbruck Splash

It's going to be a warm day, and I felt that I needed a menthol kick start this morning before I go out to walk dogs at the no-kill shelter. Ingram's, followed by an invigorating and fragrant splash of Alt Innsbruck, performed that duty well. It was an excellent shave from beginning to end, and I'm sure "my" dogs will be quite impressed!

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Treet Durasharp
Brush: Simpson Colonel in Two Band
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Taylor Avocado
A/S: Alt Innsbruck

The more I use the Treet Durasharps, the more I like them. They are extremely smooth and sharp. My only complaint is that if I leave one in a razor for a few days, it will rust. The pre-paraben ban TOBS Avocado once again delivered and I enjoyed an outstanding shave followed by a refreshing splash of Alt Innsbruck.

Saturday

Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Vision (closed down all the way)
Schick Plus Platinum (4)
Omega 20106
QED Wild Orange soap
Dominica Bay Rum with Lime

Does anyone transfer their QED soap to another container? What is the best way to do that? I like to store my soap in a glass Anchor Hocking bowl and prefer to drop the soap into a scuttle for lathering so it needs to be a "loose puck". Is that possible with QED soap? Thanks.

Scott,
You should be able to melt the QED soap, place wax paper in you Anchor bowl and pour the QED soap on top of it. Let it set up until solid, place in the freezer for a time and then remove soap puck, remove the wax paper and have a loose puck.

Me too, they're the blade I have the most of in my stash. I use them in TTO (Gillette Adjustable) razors and leave them to drain with the head opened a bit, resting on the side/end of the head and the tip of the handle. Little to no rust in the few days any one blade is in there.

Three-piece razors are reserved for using up my small stash of blades from St. Petersburg (wax/glue spots), mostly 7 o'clock Yellows.
