Friday morning:
Jagger Georgian brush
Trumper lime soap
Futur razor
Gillette green box blade (India)
Bourbon Parfums aftershave
Lorenzo Villoresi sandalwood cologne
Drained my last bottle of Taylors 74 Victorian Lime cologne (aftershave) so it's on to other stuff. The Taylors was appreciated during this summer's oppressive heat and humidity.

"Hello Floyd, this is Barney Fife. Who's in the chair...well
get rid of 'em. I'm coming over and I'm ready for action!
That's right, I want the works...shave, haircut, witch hazel,
O.D. cologne, toilet water...If it smells I want it!"

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: Vie-Long Gonzalo Horse/Boar
Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum & Sweet Orange
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Provence Sante Verlaine Splash
I was in a citrus mood this morning, and decided to pull out the Ogallala soap. I was rewarded with a fine, fragrant shave--smooth and close. When shaving with a glycerine soap, I always pay special attention to my technique because the soap has excellent glide but, in my opinion, less cushion than the typical hard soap. Therefore, there is a greater chance for nicks if one is not careful. No nicks today--great way to start a Saturday!
