Chris, how is this soap compared to the other good veggie soaps (T&H, etc.)? The scent - or the idea of it - intrigues me, though I'm pretty settled...

Also, is Castile a part of your scent den now? I thought you might like that one. Very nice stuff.

Regards,
Tim, the Castile has joined the den I was able to get a great price on a bottle and it fills that neroli itch I have. Pretty good longevity, too. As for the Bath House, I am about 7-8 shaves in with it and like the lather quite a bit. It may be the best veggie soap I've used, but I want to give it a little more time before I make any final comment. The scent is spicy (nutmeg or clove) with patchouli in the background. Definitely not sweet or floral to my nose.
Best,
Chris

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Gillette Yellow
Brush: Shavemac D01 Horn
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream or Soap: Calani and Italian Palmolive Superlather
A/S: Trumper Extract of Limes

I received a sample of Calani Zypresse & Orange shaving soap from Jesse and decided to give it a try this morning. No Go! Although the lather looked pretty good, it lacked the glide necessary for a comfortable shave. I added a squirt of Italian Palmolive to create a superlather and all was good.

Thursday

Razor: Gillette Milord
Blade: Schick Plus Platinum (4th)
Cream: JM Fraser - Jake's Sport
Brush: Omega 48
Toner: Thayers Lavender WH
A/S: Boosters Jickey w/ a dab of 444 Aftershave Balm
Cologne: Boucheroun Jaipur

I decided to go with my Milord this morning, since I hadn't used it in 2-3 months. It is a little mild for my liking; but with an extra pass and a little touch-up work it provides a wonderfully comfortable and close shave. I may have to work it into the rotation a bit more often.
Peace,
Andrew

LOL, I'd blame the mirror! Definately time for a replacement, I'd say.
