Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve when readapting to the straight, and I had forgotten that the second day can be a bit tough as the skin can be a bit roughed up from the day before even if you don't realize it (a difference I find between DEs, with which a rough shave is immediately apparent, and straights). Anyway, not as comfortable a shave as yesterday, but closer and very satisfying.
