Kent BK4 loaner
Klar Kabinett ss*
Mühle R89 razor
Dorco 301 day 3
Burt's "Pink" a/s

*Okay, I like the scent of Klar initially. Artificial, but nice, with a touch of sandalwood underlying the rose. But after it's lathered, there's something down in there that's a bit musty or something that I don't care for. I think. I'll give it a couple of additional lathers to verify.

Oh, BTW, very nice change of pace to use the soft BK4. Maybe not quite dense enough, but so luxurious.

Regards,
Regards,
Tim

Razor: iKon Bulldog LE*
Blade: Schick Plus Platinum*
Brush: Simpson Ehsan*
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Yardley*
A/S: Trumper Marlborough*

My "Mournful Monday" shave is dedicated to cherished shave items that are no longer in production (marked by an *). My limited Edition iKon Bulldog paired with a Schick Plus Platinum blade did an excellent job leaving my face smooth and irritation free. A splash of Trumper Marlborough and I am ready for the day.

I get what you mean about somehting in the background that muddies up the scent. It keeps me from craving the scent, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. God, I do wish Pen's still offered Hammam Bouquet as a soap (tallow, of course, since I am wishing for the world).
Best,
Chris
