Friday, November 25th

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Polsilver
Brush: Savile Row
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Colgate Cup Soap
A/S: Alt Innsbruck

An excellent shave! The Polsilver blade seems to be getting smoother with each shave (shave #3) and the Colgate soap continues to impress. A fine BBS shave followed by the nectar of the Gods...Alt Innsbruck.

Friday

Becker scuttle
Proraso preshave
Somerset Simpson Chubby 1 Super brush
Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood shaving cream
Feather AS razor
Polsilver blade (4)
Ralph Lauren Safari aftershave

A late report today because of a computer crash. It's fortunate that it was Black Friday, so I could get a reasonable replacement. But the day started OK with a good close shave.

sat'day morn

Muhle R41/ Rpaira (2)
Thater '1' with Tabac (puck)
followed by...
Tabac aftershave balm

Strangely unsatisfying shave. Think I prefer Tabac in stick form these days. Either that or the Rapira is already quite blunt (shaved off a 3-4 day beard yesterday) - a bit of both, likely.

Saturday, November 26th

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Polsilver
Brush: Rudy Vey Beehive (D01 Knot)
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: DR Harris Arlington
A/S: DR Harris Marlborough

It has been a little while since I last used DR Harris soap and I had forgotten just how nice it is. The Rudy Vey brush ginned up a nice creamy lather and I enjoyed an excellent shave. The Harris Marlborough aftershave, a favorite, was the cherry on the sundae.

Saturday

Becker scuttle
Proraso preshave
Somerset Simpson Chubby 2 Best brush
MEM shaving cream
iKon Modern Bulldog razor
Schick Plus Platinum blade (1)
GF Trumper Limes skin food

DFS. Very slightly rough with first use of the Schick, as usual, especially in the iKon. Tomorrow and thereafter should be smoother. The MEM was very productive of lather and had very good glide but just fair cushion. I may have used too much water. I'll try it again in a couple days.
