Tuesday, November 22nd

Razor: GIBBS Click Pen
Blade: Gillette Super Thin
Brush: Thater Stout 1
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Wilkinson Sword Shave Stick
A/S: Acca Kappa Emulsion

It was a hectic day and I did not get a chance to shave until this evening. I again reached for the GIBBS Click Pen razor but this time with a fresh Gillette Super Thin blade. I enjoyed an excellent shave and the Acca Kappa emulsion really made my face feel great!

Tuesday Night:

iKon Bulldog razor with safety bars
Super Iridium blade

NOS Ever-Ready 300PST in badger
Art of Shaving Lemon shaving soap

Lather made in a bowl, as always.

Thayer's Peach Witch Hazel, blended with a bit of lather and massaged into the skin.

Again, this NOS brush was a gift from a friend. It's not suited for face-lathering at all. Those who wanted to do it so would have purchased this handle filled with boar. This one lathers in a bowl with ease and efficiency, however.

Tuesday

"Scratch"
Gillette Vietnamese/Thai Blade (#2)
Barbasol w/Aloe SC
Moisturizer + Jojoba Oil

I feel like I could push this blade one more day, but probably not worth it, and I want to experiment with my 7 O'Clocks.

Good morning. Wednesday:

Jaggerooney w/IP, #1
BK 4
Nancy Boy Signature
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel
Harris Pink
Trumper's Ajaccio Violet

Switched to the IP early as the Gillette 7 O'Clock Blue was a bit too sharp for my skin.
Best,
Chris

An unplanned five country shave:

Kent BK4
Cella soap
Merkur HD
Rubie (5)

Another excellent shave.

Generous splash of Aqua Velva to celebrate.

Fatboy on 9
Derby blade
Omega boar 30005
Floris No. 89 soap
Clubman Vanilla A/S

Got a very nice lather which resulted in a remarkably close and smooth shave. Never could get a good lather with this soap and a badger brush

Wednesday AM:

Vitos Soft Italian soap
Handcrafted badger brush
Gillette Black Handle SS
Polsilver SI (5)
Bay Rum

Yesterdays shave with this blade in the Slim told me that I'd be lucky to get another shave out of it. So I decided to try backing off on the aggressiveness. I put it back in the BH razor instead of turning down the Slim. It was a fine shave, an easy BBS.
