Wednesday:

Turkish horse hair brush Nr. 7
Vintage Williams soap, Cranford, NJ era, whipped up in a bowl
Super Adjustable, P-1, set at 3 (1st pass) and 4
Shark Super Stainless blade
Target witch hazel
Nivea Sensitive ASB

Amazing how well the vintage Williams works, almost better than Arko stick. The stuff is getting pricey, however.

Thursday morning:

Jagger Georgian brush
Cella shave soap
Futur razor
Tiger blade
Bourbon Parfums aftershave
Creed Bois du Portugal cologne

For generations men in my family have used Old Spice as an aftershave/cologne during family holidays and my son and I decided to start our own traditions wearing our favorites. My choice is the Creed and his Trumpers Lime of which he has grown quite fond.

Thanksgiving Shave

Post by BullGoose »

Thursday, November 24th

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Polsilver
Brush: Shavemac 2007 LE
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Tabula Rasa Vetiver & Tangerine
A/S: Meehan Bay Rhum

I enjoyed an outstanding shave today. The Polsilver blade seemed much smoother on this shave than the first which is not unusual. A fine BBS shave followed by a favorite cooler weather scent, Meehan Bay Rhum. Very nice indeed!
