Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur Progress XL
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless
Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super
Soap or Cream: Cyril Salter Indian Sandalwood Cream
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood Toner
An excellent BBS shave this morning with the Ladas blade, which is becoming one of my favorites. It's smooth and sharp and lasts at least 7 shaves for me (5 is my usual norm, except for Super Iridiums, which are good for 15--for me, anyway).

Thursday AM:
VanDerWilliams
Semogue 1438 Boar
OCMM SE razor
GEM SS ptfe (7)
Bay Rum
7 shaves on the blade and I'm still getting a comfortable 2 pass + touchups BBS. That got to me thinking, plus I've been considering doing this for quite some time... I plan on testing this blade until I retire it because it won't perform anymore.

Thursday
Moss scuttle
Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson Emperor 1 Super brush
Wrisley's Lavender soap
Feather AS razor
Super-Max Titanium blade (2)
Creed Green Irish Tweed aftershave balm
BBS today. The Super-Max blade is somewhat surprisingly sharp and smooth in the Feather all stainless. And I got just a very slight hint of lavender scent from the Wrisley's!

Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Personna Med Prep
Brush: Thater Stout 1
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Egyptian Ingrams
A/S: DRH Marlborough
I tried a few new items today. The Egyptian Ingrams cream was a gift from Jeff (Crackstar). It seems to have a bit more menthol than the UK Ingrams and the scent is a bit different...I think I detect eucalyptus. I REALLY like this cream. It whipped up a lather easily, the lather was stable and my face felt cool and smooth when I was done. If you can find this version of Ingrams, definitely pick it up.
I also used the Personna Med Prep blade for the first time. The first pass was so-so but then the blade really started to shine. I enjoyed an irritation free BBS shave and will be interested to see how many shaves I can get out of the blade.
