Gillette '47 Aristocrat
Dorco 301 (6)
Valobra shave disk
C&E BBB

Had the time and after watching the guy shave with a cleaver, I decided to go for smooth. Very good results. Only a two-second burn from the Pinaud Bay Rum.

*A sample (thaks Tim/TRBeck). The scent is very close to Fitjar Woods (the target) (yay!) and it provided a very close, comfortable shave. The lather was not as dense as some other creams, but that could be due to either the amount of product used or the fact that my water softener needs a recharging.
I'm gratified and not a little proud that the scent hits close to the Fitjar, Chris. I think Al's product is great, and the option to create a custom scent is really cool. I have had lots of fun messing with different EO combinations and turning a couple into shave creams.

Good morning. Friday:

Jaggerooney w/Dorco 301, #2
M&F 1/2 Blonde
Al's Shaving Woods cream sample
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel
Harris Pink
Pen's Castile

Another excellent shave. I upped the amount of cream, thus solving yesterday's minor lather issue.
Best,
Chris

Friday AM:

Valobra stick
Simpson Special Best badger

GEM SS ptfe SE blade (eight)
Bay Rum

Fantasic shave!

OK, I've been blade shaving for 10 months now. Does it ever get old? Because I just don't see it happening.

Friday

Moss scuttle
Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson Harvard 4 Best brush
Wrisley's Lavender soap
Feather AS razor
Super-Max Titanium blade (3)
Aramis Tuscany aftershave balm

A DFS, although the Super-Max is starting to dull. The H4 whipped up the Wrisley's well, and it does have a faint lavender scent. Next week I'll use Yardley Black Label to compare.

I like your bowl, Teiste. If I wasn't already spoiled by having a couple scuttles, I would have grabbed one of those when they came up.
