Wednesday morning:
Turkish horse hair brush Nr. 6
Arko stick whipped up in a bowl
Lord Smart Razor S.625
Shark Super Stainless blade, 3rd shave
Body Shop Razor Relief, <2008 formula
First shave back home after four days in travel mode. The Arko stick lather actually left my skin feeling better than the Body Shop Shave Cream I used in the three previous shaves. That in spite of the Winter Solstice and the cold, dry weather descending upon us.

Brush: Vie-Long Horse
Soap/Creme: Kiss My Face Creme
Razor: Yuma
Blade: Astra SP
Pre: How towel
Post: Witch Hazel
Hair Groom: Gables creme-oil
Result: KMF hasn't been a favorite of mine, but it has a good reputation, so I decided to give it another try. I was more generous with product than I had been when I last tried it and used my vie-long horse, and it whipped up easily into mounds of creamy lather. I still give a slight edge to my soaps, but I can at least now see what other people mean when they talk about KMF. The Yuma continued to impress, as well. All in all a pretty good shave. I'm certainly glad to be home to my den. :>

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Ikon OSS
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: Grosvenor LE Two Band
Soap or Cream: Proraso Green Tea & Aloe Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, 4711 Splash
This was my second shave with this razor and I used the open comb side for the entire shave. The result was BBS this time (my first shave fell a tad short of BBS) and very comfortable. The OSS is a fine razor. I always enjoy Proraso soap and the white tub stuff has a very pleasant scent. A splash of 4711 tied the ribbon on this superb shave.

Happy Birthday Gary!
Thursday AM:
Hot towel face prep
ARKO stick
Simpson Special Best badger
Gillette '40s gold Tech with slim handle
Shark blade (1)
Bay Rum
I just have to finish these blade tests so that I can settle down and just enjoy shaving! Just a few more blades to test.
The Shark is decent so far. Just too much work to get a great shave out of a mild razor. Comfortable enough though.

Razor: iKon H20
Blade: Gillette Dark Blue
Brush: Simpson Douglas
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: D.R. Harris Marlborough
A/S: D.R. Harris Marlborough
Another great shave! The Gillette Dark Blue blade is starting to show signs of dulling so, I will switch razors tomorrow. That said, I enjoyed another BBS shave.
