Good Saturday morning Gents!

Hot towel face prep
Vitos SIS
Semogue 610 boar (gotta get it broken in)
GEM 1912
GEM SS ptfe (7)
Bay Rum

I'll get just as tired of writing "Semogue 610 boar" for the next month or so as you will to read it. But I'll be using most every day to get it broken in.

Saturday

Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson Harvard 5 Best brush
Old Spice shaving soap
Feather AS razor
Personna 74 blade (6)
Old Spice Classic aftershave

BBs. The Harvard lathered up the old soap really well, a beautiful combination, and the Personna just keeps going. Although it's not a favorite of SWMBO, I like this aftershave occasionally, as I do Pinaud Clubman.

Saturday, February 4th

Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Kai Mild
Brush: Simpson Douglas
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Italian Palmolive
A/S: Taylor Bay Rum

It has been a bit of a rough week and I have not have time to post my shaves. Today I tried a Kai Mild Blade compliments of Sullybob. It is hard to form an opinion on one shave but I did enjoy a BBS shave. We'll see how it compares to the Feather professional blade over time.

Sunday

iKon OSS
Personna Prep
KMF Cool Mint Shave Cream
Unknown Silvertip
L'Oreal After Shave Balm
Old Spice Classic Cologne

After ten days with the Cobra Classic it was strange getting back to a regular double edge razor. But old habits never die. A wonderful smooth and irritation free shave. I always start with the open comb side then switch to closed bar for ATG and finish off with the open end. This seems to work for me with great results.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: ikon OSS
Blade: Gillette Super Thin
Brush: Vie-Long Gonzalo Boar/Horse
Soap or Cream: Provence Sante Verlaine Soap
A/S: Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel, Provence Sante Verlaine Splash

A close and comfortable BBS shave this morning--and I love the scent of Provence Sante Verlaine. The OSS/Gillette Super Thin combo worked its voodoo on the whiskers and I'm ready for the day.
