Friday's shave

Vitos Extra Super Shaving Soap
Simpson Chubby 2 Best
Wilkinson Sword FX
Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna Aftershave Balm

Surprisingly good shave with the FX two blade cartridge, but still not as comfortable as with a DE. I got it for use while traveling and avoiding the hassel with airport security. DE's are just very comfortable to use and I think it has to do with the weight of the razor and letting it do the job.

Friday, February 3, 2012 - GEMruary!
  1. Prep: Hot shower; Yardley bath bar
  2. Coffee: Locally roasted Panamanian w/ cream
  3. Lather: Speick - bowl lather
  4. Brush: Vulfix 2234 Super
  5. Razor: Gem OCMM

Happy GEMruary! A month of the Gems with the 27th being the centennial of the 1912 patent. The OCMM is still my favorite razor. I hope to be giving it a run for it's money when a friend lends me both a new R41 and a slant to try out. Excellent BBS shave this morning.

Shave Rating - Splendidly Sublime! A definite Single Blader! God Bless!
