Gentlemen,

The heavy wet snow flakes falling this morning here in the province can't decide between wearing a fur coat or slipping on a swim suit for a dip. The weatherman predicts the swim suit will win later in the day. Either way, it's a lazy day.

Razor: Merkur Progress — two passes
Blade: Super Iridium on the third and the final tour
Brush: Semogue 2010 Owners Club in cherry wood handle
Soap: Le Collectioneur Lothantique on its retirement day
Scuttle: Moss
Lather bowl: Modified Ayars
Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
Balm: Trumper Coral Skin Food
Aftershave: Pashana
Music: Luscious jazz from Charlie Haden's recording "Nocturn"
Finisher: Sumatra coffee and the falling snow in Cinemascope

Tuesday morning:

Hot towel face prep
Vitos SIS w/Bay Rum scent added
Simpson Special best badger
GEM 1912 Jr
GEM SS ptfe blade (14 and canned)
Bay Rum

I felt the blade had turned the corner, so I canned it, but 14 shaves isn't too shabby.

Before I applied my handcrafted BR the shave was a DFS, afterward it could be called a BBS. It was still a DFS to me.

Edit: I hate it when I don't proofread and need to edit!

Tuesday

Becker scuttle
Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson Beaufort 5 Pure brush
Czech & Speake No. 88 shaving soap
Wilkinson Sticky razor
Wilkinson Light Brigade blade (5)
Ralph Lauren Safari aftershave splash

The soap, despite its hype, was just pretty good, but everything else was great.

Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Feather Professional

I think I am up to shave 10 on the Feather Professional blade and it is still going strong. I enjoyed a great shave followed by a refreshing splash of La Toja Classic aftershave.
