Thursday morning:
Vitos SIS
$.50 Chinese boar brush
OCMM
Gem SS ptfe (9)
bay rum
"Things" have conspired to keep me away from the OCMM for quite some time. Todays use of it reminded me of just how good a shave this razor produces.
What a fantastic shave! The entire experience!

Next Tuesday morning:
I'm expecting delivery of a new Savile Row 3120* Silvertip badger by then and will use it with a Schick N1 injector/NOS Schick Plus Platinum blade, Trumper's Limes shave cream, and Humphrey's Witch Hazel. The experience will be wonderful.
*A return to brush shaving after a two-year lull.

Indeed. One of my favorite things to do is use this razor on a 4 or 5 day beard. Then it shines even more.ShadowsDad wrote:Thursday morning:

Then again I say this same thing about my Muhle R41.
Must be an open comb thing.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: EJ Chatsworth
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Dark Blue
Brush: Vie-Long Gonzalo Boar/Horse
Soap or Cream: Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns Toner
I shave with Ogallala soaps mainly for their unique scents, and the BR, L & P scent is a favorite of mine. While not triple milled and not containing tallow, Ogallala always provides a nice shave (for me). It doesn't have quite the luxurious face feel of, for example, D.R. Harris, but the toner seems to make up for it. This morning's shave was excellent--close, but smooth, and enveloped in a fine fragrance.
