Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: iKon OSS
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Vulfix VS/5 Boar
Soap or Cream: Speick Stick
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Speick Splash

Another shave stick Saturday shave, and a fine one, too. And the Speick splash provided a very pleasant finish on this foggy morning. I wish the Speick stick came in a handy pushup container like the Irisch Moos and Tabac sticks, but I keep it in a plastic pill bottle. That works fine for storage and travel, but has no pushup feature.

Gentlemen, today's shave was slow and intentionally long, like stretching that luscious kiss.

Razor: Merkur 34C HD
Blade: Feather
Brush: Vulfix 2235 super badger — one of the sweetest brushes ever made
Cream: Jermyn Street by Taylor of Old Bond Street
Pre-shave: Castle Forbes
Scuttle: Moss
Lather bowl: Ayars/Bonnyman
Alum
Witch hazel
Balm: Coral Skin Food by Trumper
Aftershave: Rose of Bulgaria
Music: "On Jermyn Street" and other tunes with jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli — a delightful shave cream deserves its own music, so to speak
Finisher: Kenya coffee and a visit with the poet John Keats

Saturday

Georgetown scuttle
Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson Astor Best brush
Mitchell's Wool Fat shaving soap
Feather AS razor
Wilkinson Light Brigade blade (6)
Abercrombie & Fitch Woods aftershave balm

A very good shave. This was the first time I used MWF, and I had to work pretty hard at getting the soap:water ratio right, but it produced good lather. No doubt it will be better as I get more experience. The LB continues to cut well, as always.

C&E BBB
Soap was the remaining Valobra shave stick implanted into the center of some Mama Bear's unscented glycerin soap. Works well. Very slick.
Z3 Super Speed
Derby blade on its first time out.

I do not have a heavy beard. But I've gotten used to the sharpness of Treet, Dorco, and the various St. Petersburg blades. The Derby was disappointing. It struggled through whiskers that other blades smirk at.
