Tuesday Night:

Edwin Jagger DE8911 polished chrome razor
Personna "Hospital Use" blade

Semogue 830 boar brush
Cella soft shaving soap

Lather made in a bowl, as always.

Dickinson's Witch Hazel, blended with a bit of lather and massaged into the skin.

I've long started my shave with a north-to-south pass. I've recently eliminated this pass and gone straight to the south-to-north pass, reducing my total to 2 1/2 passes. My shave is just as good and I have less irritation.

Wednesday:

Turkish horse hair brush Nr. 7
Vintage Williams (Cranford, NJ) whipped up in a bowl
Schick Krona w. 7 o'clock yellow (1) - first pass
Super Adjustable set at 3 w. Treet Durasharp carbon (2) - subsequent passes
Target witch hazel
Body Shop Razor Relief, <2009 formula

The Treet blades can be spotty in quality. This one behaves as it should. The previous one I should have tossed before finishing the first shave.

Wednesday, April 4th

Razor: Tradere OC Prototype
Blade: Super Iridium
Brush: Vie-Long Beehive (Silvertip)
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Soap: Speick Shave Stick
A/S: Speick Splash

I have been using nothing but the Vie-Long Beehive brushes since they arrived and I am still loving them. This was my first use of a shave stick with the Beehive and it went swimmingly. The Tradere razor continues to impress and I enjoyed an excellent shave. A splash of Speick and I am ready to tackle the day.

Wednesday morning:

Vintage Colgate soap
Semogue 610 boar
Gillette black handle SS
Vintage Wilk' SS Super + Chromium (2)
KF bay rum

The soap was just OK in performance, certainly better than a widely available puck soap made today though. If I tripped over another puck of this I'd take it, but I wouldn't actively seek it out. This blade is quite good. Another mild razor and anoth BBS with 2 1/2 passes.
