Gillette Rocket HD
Gillette Swede
Kent BK8
Proraso cream (Sandlewood & Shea Butter)
Harris Pink

Well FTO for the cream. I posted yesterday before use that I said that the scent was unusual and for me it didn't really smell like Sandlewood. Now I have used it, I'm still of the same opinion, it's a very deep fragrance and lasts well after shaving, its certainly different from the Eucalyptus version.

Having said that it performs well like most Proraso products, with a good body of lather and very slick, lasts well too.

Rating overall 8/10

Wednesday AM

Georgetown scuttle
Ach Brito Glyce preshave soap
Somerset Simpson Harvard 4 Best brush
Yardley shaving soap
Gem Heavy Flat Top (G-Bar) razor
Gem Stainless blade (2)
Yardley English Lavender aftershave splash

A very good shave. I felt more comfortable with the SE razor this time, and I'm very smooth with only one nick. And the Yardley products are great.

Wednesday morning:

Trumper GFT cream
Semogue 610 boar
Schick Adjustable Travelin' razor set to 4
Schick blade (1)
KF bay rum

Gents, this is a very nice razor! It was an easy BBS; as easy to obtain as my more aggressive razors. One thing that struck me, it's a very quiet razor. With SE especially, and even to some degree with a few of my DE razors, I can hear the razor and blade mowing the hair down. Not with this. It just quietly gets the job done. Anyone accustomed to SE blade angle, you'll have no problem with this razor.

If this had been my first razor I have no doubt that I never would have gone to cartridges.

Tomorrow I try it on setting 6.
