Haven't been feeling well - 48 hours of stubble today. As we fought with the income tax forms, my wife stroked my face, smiled, and said, "Hmm, what's this? I kind of like it!"

I was horrified.

Tuesday morning:

Speick stick milled into a bowl
Omega 10019 boar
OCMM
GEM SS ptfe (16 and canned)
KF bay rum reformulation 1

A fantastic shave despite the age of the blade. I canned it not because it was displaying any negative qualities, but because I didn't want to push it.

Tuesday AM

Moss scuttle
Ach Brito Glyce preshave soap
Somerset Simpson Beaufort 3 Pure brush
TOBS Sandalwood shaving cream
Schick M1 Adjustable razor
Personna PTFE blade (3)
Armani Code aftershave balm

A great shave. I'm really loving this Schick adjustable. I'm not fond of the sandalwood scent of the cream, but it has wonderful cushion and glide. And the aftershave balm is one of my wife's favorites: when Mama's happy, everybody's happy.

Not sure this Sandalwood stuff is good for my face ... Also finding REALLY soft water difficult to get used to whilst on holiday in Cumbria.

Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: Merkur 23C
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum
Brush: Vie-Long Gonzalo Boar/Horse
Soap or Cream: Cella Soap
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Taylor's Sandalwood Splash

A really fine shave! The Gonzalo whipped up a nice, creamy lather and the Astra blade mowed down the whiskers to the BBS point. The Cella left my face feeling very nice--couldn't ask for more. But there is more--the Taylor's sandalwood splash provided an excellent, fragrant finish.

Tuesday, April 17th

Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Feather Professional
Brush: Vie-Long Beehive (Dyed Horse)
Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Cream: Palmolive Classic
A/S: La Toja Classic

The dyed horsehair beehive brush is turning out to be a very versatile brush. It whipped up an excellent lather from the Palmolive cream and I enjoyed a great shave. The splash of La Toja aftershave was the cherry on the sundae.
