Pre-shave soap: Musgo Real Glyce Lime
Razor: 1948-50 Gillette Superspeed*
Blade: Super Iridium*
Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE Two Band*
Soap or Cream: Proraso Classic Cream*
A/S: Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Proraso Classic Splash*

A fine shave, paying homage to some dearly departed (out of production) products. These are indicated by asterisks. My understanding is that the "classic" Proraso products are no longer being produced, now that the reformulated versions are on the market. I would have used older, "vintage" shave soap and splash, but felt the strong call of menthol on this warm morning. The Proraso was a good choice, resulting in a very cooling and refreshing shave.

Lord iKon frankenrazor
Astra SP (1)
Proraso Cream
Tulip 2 Band
Ogallala BR & Sandalwood

This is the first time I've ever had to replace a new blade mid shave.
The NOS Gillette Thin Blade just wasn't cutting it (pun intended); hence the rescue by the Astra SP.

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Homemade frankincense & myrrh preshave oil
Somerset Simpson Duke 1 Pure brush
House for Men HIS shaving soap
Wilkinson Sticky razor
Schick Plus Platinum blade (3)
Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet aftershave

A great shave this fine morning. The soap, which requires a little elbow grease to produce lather, has actually regained a little of its nice scent. I'm BBS. And the Hammam, rich and complex, is always wonderful.
